SparkJoy is a North American studio making limited-run collector figures drawn from Eastern mythology. Not a toy company — every piece starts as clay and ends as a numbered object with a certificate.
Why Eastern mythology
Journey to the West, Three Kingdoms and Fengshen have been retold for six hundred years — as opera, as murals, as moral fable. Almost never as something with weight, rust and scars. We wanted to see what these characters look like when you stop treating them as symbols.
How we build
Prototypes are hand-sculpted in clay, 30+ hours per figure. Production runs are short and use real fabric, leather and metal. Paint is layered by hand, so no two units finish identically. When a run sells out, the moulds are archived — we do not restock.
Who this is for
Collectors who already own plenty and want something that isn't another variant of the same licensed hero. Our runs are small by design: 600 to 1,200 pieces worldwide.
Where we are
SparkJoy operates in the United States and Canada. Orders ship from North American warehouses, so our customers don't get hit with overseas customs surprises.
